Southwest Greens has recently commemorated 15 years in the EMEA area — a milestone we are thrilled with. Starting out as a “cowboy” by appropriating a synthetic soccer field and dubbing it a tee box to engineered solutions that look and play like natural — much as changed.
At Southwest Greens, we start developing with the end result in mind. We make every effort to create artificial putting green turf that has the same look and feel of natural turf. The feel we stated is in terms of ball behavior — more particularly — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. This project is known as “Science Behind The Surface,” and we examine our artificial system against natural turf via a playability assessment tool.
